Welcome to the Hamstead Diamonds Tennis Club website.

Tennis and fitness coaching is provided for all levels and ages ranging from young children to adults who want to stay fit or merely improve their tennis technique.

The club was previously called Birmingham North City Tennis Club. It started as an inner city three initiative club and has achieved excellent results against the odds. Having not received additional grants or funding from the original partners, this forced us to link to Hamstead Community Club - hence the name change.

Lawrence Douglin and Jewlee Robinson are the two main coaches.

Both are enthusiastic and highly motivated. They have aided children in developing confidence and producing players who have gone on and won tournaments.

This is a local tennis club which is currently run from Hamstead Hall School in Handsworth Wood and Laurel Road, Handsworth. The club ground is currently under development. Completion date of June 2010 has been delayed - further updates will be posted.
